Workplace Security and Safety Consultant
Duane Fredrickson, founder and president of Fredrickson Consulting, is a workplace security and safety consultant who conducts seminars, speaks, and consults nationally on workplace safety issues. He specializes in safe terminations, preventing workplace violence, and preventing identity theft.
In 1992, Mr. Fredrickson co-founded Violence Free, a unique violence prevention company. In 2014, he founded and opened his current company, Fredrickson Consulting, based in Phoenix, Arizona. During this time he has helped resolve hundreds of workplace violence situations for a wide variety of corporations and other organizations. He has personally managed over fifty times all aspects of high-risk terminations for clients. He is also a noted and in-demand professional speaker and instructor who promotes understanding of workplace and personal safety issues while keeping his audiences engaged.
His career also includes thirty-one years in law enforcement in a variety of urban policing positions before retiring as a Detective Sergeant. He is a graduate of the FBI Criminal Investigation School and the United States Secret Service Dignitary Protection School. He has also received much additional FBI training.

Duane also spent forty years in the United States Army Reserve and Active Duty Army. As a Command Sergeant Major, he completed combat tours of duty overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was awarded the distinguished “Bronze Star” and the “Legion of Merit” for exemplary service in Army Special Operations Units. He received a letter from President George W. Bush recognizing his military service and has met with well-known individuals in the course of his service. Over the years, he has attained certification in a huge variety of security-related topics and has also attained trainer or instructor certifications in many areas.
He also has college degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, graduating with honors.
Notable charitable endeavors
Served on a team of 15 that raised $350,000 for a family with 4 autistic children – we bought them a house, redesigned it to make it safe for autistic children and completed the project in 4 months.
Part of a team that raised $250,000 to buy medical supplies and toys, and hand delivered them to 14 orphanages in St. Petersburg, Russia.
